Nour Hammoudeh

Meetings Manager

Nour Hammoudeh serves as a Meetings Manager at SAM, where she works with partner organization volunteer leaders to plan and execute conferences and meetings. She joined the SAM team in 2025 with extensive experience organizing conferences, board meetings, and special events that bring communities together and drive missions forward.

With a passion for creating impactful experiences, Nour enjoys coordinating everything from small meetings to large-scale statewide conferences. She thrives on juggling complex logistics, managing budgets, and ensuring events align with organizational goals.

Nour earned her bachelor's degree in hotel and restaurant management with a specialization in meeting and event planning from the Conrad N. Hilton College of Global Hospitality Leadership at the University of Houston. Her past experience includes planning events for and supporting the leaders and stakeholders of Texas' 50 community college districts.

A dedicated advocate for nonprofits and associations, Nour actively volunteers with industry groups, such as Meeting Professionals International Texas Hill Country Chapter (MPI THCC) and the Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International (HSMAI). Her leadership and contributions have been recognized with awards, including the MPI THCC 2024 Planner of the Year.

What inspires me about working with associations: I really enjoy working with associations because they bring people together to make an impact in communities and effect change.  

Favorite SAM core value: Practice empathy. Empathy is the best part of event planning because you get to learn something new with every event. Plus, making sure attendees feel like they truly belong is what makes an event memorable and that's what the hospitality industry is all about.
