Leslie Briones

Finance Coordinator

Leslie Briones serves as a Finance Coordinator at SAM, where she ensures partner organization finances are presented accurately and efficiently. 

Prior to joining SAM, Leslie provided administrative support for the operations of an insurance provider and gained experience in organization and information management. Her passion for associations stems from her dedication to community outreach and service. She has volunteered for several local organizations, including Keep San Marcos Beautiful and Habitat for Humanity.  

Leslie joined SAM in 2024 after earning her bachelor's degree in finance from Texas State University.

Outside of work, I love... exploring new hobbies and embracing nature by spending time outdoors.

What inspires me about working with associations: Learning about the unique missions of different associations and seeing their growth is inspiring. It's exciting to look into how individuals unite to create a positive influence on others and society as a whole.

Favorite SAM core value: Stay curious. I value constant learning and naturally want to ask questions for better understanding.
